The Tandem HP NonStop Himalaya S7600 midrange server delivers twice the performance of its predecessor, the S7400, designed for migration from the Tandem HP NonStop Himalaya S7000 server, with much greater server’s performance. The Tandem HP NonStop (1961) S7600 achieves its superior performance through the MIPS R12000  microprocessor at 300 megahertz.  It is available in two configurations.  The first is the (1961-A) S7600 PMF with 1 gigabyte of main memory.
